  Semolina Slices Recipe  
     
  Ingredients  
  187.5ml (3/4c) ghee  
  500gr semolina  
  397gr (1tin) Condensedmilk  
  60ml (4t) Desicated Coconut  
  5ml (1t) ground cardomom  
  1 x 155gr tin Nestle Cream  
  Slivered Almonds  
     
  Method  
  Boil sugar and water together for about 1-2mins and until sticky. Heat the ghee, add semolina, braise stirring on very low heat for 5mins.  
  Remove, add syrup and condensed milk. Return to very low heat, stir vigorously to prevent burning. Add in coconut, cardomom and cream. Continue stirring vigorously for another +/- 10mins until thick.  
  Turn out into shallow pan and flatten evenly evenly with the back of a spoon.  
  Decorate with slievered almonds  
  Allow to set, Cut as desired into squares or diamond shapes
