Semolina Slices Recipe |

Ingredients |

187.5ml (3/4c) ghee |
|
| |
500gr semolina |
|
| |
397gr (1tin) Condensedmilk |
|
| |
60ml (4t) Desicated Coconut |
|
| |
5ml (1t) ground cardomom |
|
| |
1 x 155gr tin Nestle Cream |
|

Slivered Almonds |

Method |

| |
Boil sugar and water together for about 1-2mins and until sticky. Heat the ghee, add semolina, braise stirring on very low heat for 5mins. |

Remove, add syrup and condensed milk. Return to very low heat, stir vigorously to prevent burning. Add in coconut, cardomom and cream. Continue stirring vigorously for another +/- 10mins until thick. |

| |
Turn out into shallow pan and flatten evenly evenly with the back of a spoon. |
|
| |
Decorate with slievered almonds |
|

Allow to set, Cut as desired into squares or diamond shapes |
