  Prunes In Masala Chicken Recipe  
     
  Ingredients  
  1 1/2kg Chicken, Quatered  
  1 x 250g packet pitted prunes  
  10ml (2t) Crushed Garlic  
  10ml (2t) Grated Fresh Ginger  
  5ml (1t) chilli powder  
  10ml (2t) ground jeeru  
  10ml (2t) ground coriander  
  5ml (1t) garam masala  
  10ml (2t) paprika  
  7ml (1 1/2t) Salt to taste  
  1 x 41gr canned tomato puree  
  100gr butter  
  5 Potato Peeled  
     
  Method  
  Clean, wash and drain chicken. Combine with the rest of ingredients except butter and pototoes and mix well in a deep saucepan, heat butter and when hot add chicken quarter, leaving prunes and marinade in a bowl. Marinate potatoes in prune and marinade mixture. Fry chicken until browned about 15mins a side. Add Marinade prune and potatoes mixture and cork until potatoes are about 15mins. Serve with your favourite rice dish & tandoori roti
