Prunes In Masala Chicken Recipe |

Ingredients |

1 1/2kg Chicken, Quatered |
|
| |
1 x 250g packet pitted prunes |
|
| |
10ml (2t) Crushed Garlic |
|
| |
10ml (2t) Grated Fresh Ginger |
|
| |
5ml (1t) chilli powder |
|
| |
10ml (2t) ground jeeru |
|
| |
10ml (2t) ground coriander |
|
| |
5ml (1t) garam masala |
|
| |
10ml (2t) paprika |
|
| |
7ml (1 1/2t) Salt to taste |
|
| |
1 x 41gr canned tomato puree |
|
| |
100gr butter |
|
| |
5 Potato Peeled |

Method |

| |
Clean, wash and drain chicken. Combine with the rest of ingredients except butter and pototoes and mix well in a deep saucepan, heat butter and when hot add chicken quarter, leaving prunes and marinade in a bowl. Marinate potatoes in prune and marinade mixture. Fry chicken until browned about 15mins a side. Add Marinade prune and potatoes mixture and cork until potatoes are about 15mins. Serve with your favourite rice dish & tandoori roti |
