I left South Africa at the age of 17 to further my Islamic studies in India, after
getting married I returned to India with my husband and whilst he was studying I
pursued a course in hifz and tajweed, when we returned two years later, I stated
teaching in the maktab and has done so for 24 years, I've taught new muslims for
the Jamiatul Ulema for 13 years, I've also been involved in many programs involving
the underprivileged and interacted with the youth where motivational talks and l
ectures were concerned, and then relocated to England for the past two years, I
taught In an Islamic school for girls in Batley, and are now back in South Africa,
as the deeni environment in this country just cannot be found anywhere in the world.
