| Getting connected |
- Once you have the correct version of Windows Media
Player installed on your system and have made certain
that embedded controls are supported by your browser,
simply login.
- The Player will run and there will be a slight pause
while you connect to the network, you will get a message
about buffering - and after getting to 100% buffering,
you should receive Cii Broadcasting loud and clear.
- If the audio reception seems slow or broken, please
set the buffer in Windows Media Player to 30 seconds
or more. This means the player will preload more of
the audio before starting the stream, in order to
compensate for occassional bandwidth difficulties,
such as when downloading big files or surfing graphic
intensive sites whilst trying to listen.

| What seems to be the problem? |
- I see the sponsorship logo but see or hear
nothing else?
Your browser cannot open the embedded Media Player
either because it is not supported by the browser
or because your browser's security settings disallow
embedded controls - If you are using IE, Netscape
or a Mozilla browser, check your browser's security
settings and make certain embedded or ActiveX controls
are allowed.
- Failed connection:
Your connection to the internet is not stable or faulty
- or the nearesat network delivery point is too busy
or down. (this very rarely happens!) Check your connection
- wait a little, then please try again. If you are
connecting from an office network, please ask your
network administrators if they allow streaming from
the internet.
- Stream keeps breaking up and dropping:
Congestion on the internet....or congestion on your
line? The latter is usually the case - try to reconnect
if using a modem, or use less bandwidth by shutting
down browsing or downloading sessions.
- I get a "source file could not be loaded",
or "...cannot play the file." error message!!
The link file pointing to the streams may be having
difficulty reaching your player - click here to download
a zip file containing this asx file. Unzip and save
it to your computer, and open it in your Windows Media
Player application.
- I'm still having problems....what now?
Try the Windows Media Support Center Pages by clicking
here. This resource contains valuable help pointers
for most problems.
